    Musica Nova:  Four  Centuries of French Music

    Students from the University’s Advanced Orchestra and Chamber Music Ensemble perform with UT Dallas faculty and other professional musicians under the direction of composer-conductor Robert Xavier Rodríguez. The program will include music from the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries:

    Jean-Baptiste Lully, Pavane des saisons
    Jean-Baptiste Loeillet, Sonata in B Minor
    Gabriel Fauré, Pavane
    Maurice Ravel, Pavane pour une infante défunte
    Paul Dukas, Villanelle
    Ernest Chausson, Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet
