Join us for an exciting afternoon as we celebrate the 35-year tenure RCB had under Conductor Emeritus, George Jones.
During our 50th Anniversary Season, RCB has been taking a look back!
We found hand-written notes from the first concert Maestro Jones conducted with the RCB – and we will be performing some of those same selections – as well as new pieces. We are also performing two pieces that were composed for George. One that celebrated his 25th (Silver) Anniversary with the band and the other that was commissioned for his retirement at Garland Independent School District.
