Saxophonist Jim Riggs and The Official Texas Jazz Orchestra initiate the spring 2015 season with their brand of “big band jazz.” The Orchestra includes musicians from the renowned University of North Texas jazz faculty. Individuals in the orchestra have performed with giants of jazz such as Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Buddy Rich.
