The Rio Rico Guitar Ensemble, from Tokyo, Japan, was formed in 2011 by the students of the guitarist Masatomo Tomikawa. Their repertoire has focused on Japanese music – both original works for guitar ensemble written by contemporary Japanese composers and transcriptions of traditional Japanese music.
