“Sources of Inspiration” in the Creative Process

Richardson resident Sarah Lawrence (her nom de plume) was recently appointed Director of Creative Writing for the Sacred Arts Institute, a new program she co-founded at Mount St. Mary’s University (MD). Lawrence will share her thoughts on “Sources and Uses of Inspiration” which she will present later at the first Sacred Arts Institute workshop and retreat in June at the Maryland campus.

“Sources of inspiration” from her perspective include time-tested tools to help channel inspiration such as deep breathing exercises, meditation, walking, cross-training in other art forms, structured time, enhanced dream techniques, and more. This will be a fun and interactive SEED session.
