Paris Rutherford, creator and former director of the University of North Texas Jazz Singers, directs The New Collection. This community-based jazz choral ensemble specializes in performing a cappella arrangements of jazz standards and jazz arrangements of popular music. The New Collection features arrangements by Rosanna Eckert, Kerry Marsh, Gene Puerling, Gerg Jasperse, Darmona Meader and Paris Rutherford.
