In 1970, Joe Frank, Sr., director of the Richardson High School Band, reorganized the Richarson Community Band, which had been out of commission for a significant amount of time.

In 2020, RCB’s 50th anniversary season, we planned this concert to honor the Frank musical legacy in our community by inviting three generations – Joe Frank, Jr., Jim Frank, and Chris Frank – to direct the Richardson Community Band in memory of Joe Frank, Sr. As happened across the arts, we were shut down due to the pandemic.

But, we are back . . . and we look forward to presenting this concert to you!
