The delicious juxtaposition of Bach, Bartók, & Brahms

Presented by Chamber Music International at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church

Led by Queen Elisabeth Competition Gold Medalist Nai-Yuan Hu, and joined by UNT clarinet professor Kimberly Luevano, Rice University cello professor Norman Fischer & Cliburn Gold Medalist Jon Nakamatsu, music of this concert includes an unaccompanied violin solo by Bach, and trios by Brahms and Béla Bartók. Both Brahms and Bartók famously infused their work with eastern European folk elements; Bartok even pioneered the field of ethnomusicology.
