Hector Guzman and the Plano Symphony conclude the 2013-2014 Season with the internationally acclaimed Alessio Bax. Mr. Bax has soloed with the major orchestras of the world, collaborated with such artists as Joshua Bell and Emanuel Ax, been heard in recital in Rome, Milan, Paris, London, Tokyo and more, and among numerous awards, is the First Prize winner of the 2000 Leeds International Piano Competition. He will be performing Tchaikovsky's fantastic Piano Concerto No. 1, and the season ends with Ravel’s famous waltz for large orchestra.
