Drummer Butch Miles, known for his swinging big band style and technique, is joined by trumpeter Ray Sasaki for an evening of dynamic music. Miles was drummer for the Count Basie Orchestra and now is Professor of Music at Texas State University. Sasaki, a member of the St. Louis Brass Quartet, is Professor of Trumpet at The University of Texas at Austin.
