How is this online calendar different than all the others out there?

While there are numerous other online entertainment calendars, this one is different. It presents information for a broad range of leisure-time activities in Richardson – music, dance, theatre, festivals, exhibits, and more; it provides easy access to ticketing options for its event listings as well as maps and images; and, unlike many other resources, this calendar is searchable by date, organization and keyword – making it that much easier for you to enjoy Richardson’s vibrant arts community.

Who is eligible to have events included in the calendar?

Any organization that produces entertainment events (performing & visual arts, etc.) can submit events for inclusion in the calendar, providing that they are in compliance with our published guidelines.

How can I send my events?

Just go to “Find An Event” search box at the top of any page on ArtsinRichardson.com and click Submit A Listing button. You must submit your event two weeks prior to the start date of the event. We recommend you submit as early as possible.

Can I change my event information once it is posted?

Yes. Send an e-mail to support@artsinrichardson.com and we will make the changes, generally in 24 hours or next business day.

Can I add additional still pictures or videos to my events?

Yes. Send additional images (see instructions for submitting videos) via e-mail to support@artsinrichardson.com and we will make the additions to your event listing, generally in two-to-four business days.

How does ArtsinRichardson.com choose which events to feature?

We highlight content on the homepage and category pages based on a variety of factors-popularity, timing, a diverse selection of content, and also a desire to fully represent the cultural sector. We welcome input and suggestions on content from our constituents as well as the general public.
