Eisemann Center for Performing Arts and Corporate Presentations is an important component of the cultural and corporate landscapes of the North Texas region. Our mission is to create, foster and sustain an environment of cultural diversity, educational enrichment, and fulfilling experiences benefiting all who live and work within our community. Since the Eisemann Center opened in September 2002, we have been recognized by clients, patrons and the media as one of the leading performing arts facilities serving the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Critical acclaim has been awarded not only for events that have taken place at the Eisemann Center, but for the facility and its architectural design. The Eisemann Center’s location, just south of the intersection of Central Expressway (US 75) and the President George Bush Turnpike (Hwy. 190), is easily accessible by car. Just a few hundred feet from the Eisemann Center’s front doors is the DART Rail’s Galatyn Park Station on the Red Line. An attractive public plaza featuring the Texas Instruments Foundation Community Fountain welcomes everyone to this exciting Urban Center. The Renaissance Dallas-Richardson Hotel and Galatyn Park Conference Center provide over 30,000 additional square feet of meeting and banquet space located adjacent to the Eisemann Center. With the close proximity of additional full-service hotels, the Center truly is a special place that can accommodate a wide variety of activities and events. A City of Richardson facility, the Eisemann Center is here to serve the entertainment and special events needs of both the cultural and business client. Serving the entire North Texas region, the Eisemann Center should be on your list for presenting, performing or attending events of all types. Come and see for yourself―there’s something for everyone at the Eisemann Center!

    Richardson Symphony Orchestra
    Educational;  Music;  Nonprofit
For 58 years, the RSO has carried out its mission to inspire, educate and excite our audience with exceptional musical performances. Founded in 1961, the Richardson Symphony has grown with the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex and is recognized as one of the premiere orchestras of the region. It is the resident symphony of the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts and offers six concerts (4 classical and 2 pops) each season. The orchestra is comprised of 70 professional musicians and is led by Maestro Clay Couturiaux, who just completed his eighth year with the RSO. The orchestra is supported by a dedicated Board of Directors, the Richardson Symphony League and community volunteers from a variety of organizations. Throughout its history, the orchestra has been known for its innovative programming and as a showplace for brilliant up-and-coming talent. Many notable artists have made their DFW symphony debut with the RSO, including cellist Yo-Yo Ma, violinist Nadia Solaerno-Sonnenberg and pianist Behzod Abduraimov. In addition to the critically acclaimed season performances, the Richardson Symphony is also widely regarded as a leader in education and community outreach programs. The Ann and Charles Eisemann International Young Artists Competition annually draws talented young performers from around the world who compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to perform with the orchestra at one of our concerts. The orchestra is also actively involved in enriching the Fine Arts education of Richardson Independent School District students, private school students and home-school students through the Symphony Days program.
